Standing with credit unions to provide lifesaving care
For more than 90 years, TruStage has partnered with credit unions to put people first — a commitment reflected in our renewed national sponsorship of Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) supporting Children's Miracle Network hospitals (CMN).
In 2026, TruStage contributed $375,000 to CU4Kids, helping fund signature events nationwide that raise essential dollars for children receiving life‑saving care — regardless of a family's ability to pay.
These events are projected to generate $9 million, with participation from 350+ credit unions and support for more than 125 CMN hospitals across the country.
By supporting CU4Kids, TruStage helps ease the financial burden medical expenses place on families and reinforces the credit union philosophy of people helping people — ensuring children receive the compassionate care they need.
TruStage partners with credit unions and children's hospitals uh called Children's
00:08:24 - 00:14:40
Miracle Network. We've done this for 40 years. We've raised over $200 million
00:14:40 - 00:22:08
for children's hospitals and we work side by side with credit unions to raise those funds.
00:24:80 - 00:31:28
CU4Kids dollars stay local to every CMN hospital and those funds are unrestricted. So
00:31:28 - 00:37:44
by credit unions giving to CU4Kids and CMN, it's allowing those hospitals within
00:37:44 - 00:43:60
their communities to use those funds for whatever they need. Top-of-the-line research. It might be
00:43:60 - 00:49:12
family funding programs for things like families that need breastmilk, families that need, you know,
00:49:12 - 00:54:48
additional support outside of the hospital, families that are needing mental services.
00:54:48 - 01:00:32
It's a huge gamut of things that credit unions are helping fund. And that is we're so proud
01:00:32 - 01:05:76
to say that 100% of those dollars are going towards programs like that. The cost of
01:05:76 - 01:13:44
health care is obviously um significant. Uh when it hits unexpectedly for a family, for a child,
01:13:44 - 01:19:04
it can be devastating. And so there is a linkage between how credit unions try to serve their
01:19:04 - 01:24:88
members. They think about their financial security and on how health can negatively impact that.
01:24:88 - 01:30:48
We heard from one of the fathers that being treated at their local CMN hospital allowed
01:30:48 - 01:37:36
them to not have to make that decision between paying bills and focusing on their child 100% who
01:37:36 - 01:42:80
is receiving life-changing care. So it's moments like that that really makes you stop and think wow
01:42:80 - 01:48:72
we're making a huge difference in these family's lives. TruStage participates on
01:48:72 - 01:54:96
an enterprise basis in the sense that we give financial support but there are many employees
01:54:96 - 02:01:84
that get engaged in various ways. It could be a bake sale over the years selling t-shirts,
02:01:84 - 02:08:88
running races, raising funds. In many instances, those employees have personal stories. Whether
02:08:88 - 02:14:96
it's a family member or a relative or a friend, they see the importance of Children's Hospitals
02:14:96 - 02:22:00
and they want to give back. Being part of Credit Union for Kids and CMN hospitals
02:22:00 - 02:26:96
has been something dear to my heart and something that uh I think hopefully makes
02:26:96 - 02:32:40
a difference. Hi, my name is Ava Clark and I was treated at Batson Children's Hospital in
02:32:40 - 02:37:76
Mississippi. I just want to thank you TruStage for donating life-saving funds for kids like me.
