MADISON, Wis. — Employees at TruStage, a financially strong insurance and financial services provider, rolled up their sleeves at more than 70 volunteer events during the company’s Third Annual Community Impact Day.

“TruStage was born out of the philosophy of people helping people 90 years ago, and Community Impact Day is an example of us living our values and staying true to our roots,” said Kate Austin Stanford, executive director of the TruStage Foundation. “Our team was eager to get offline and out in our communities alongside our neighbors.”

While TruStage employees volunteered in more than 50 communities across the country over several days, the majority of in-person volunteering happened in Iowa and the greater Madison, Wisconsin area, where the largest share of TruStage employees are based. Volunteer opportunities included local parks, food pantries and adopt-a-school partners.

The TruStage Community Impact Day continues to have strong employee engagement with an average of more than 500 employees participating each year for a grand total of more than 4,000 hours donated over the Community Impact Day’s three-year history.

Volunteer time is just one avenue by which TruStage gives back. In 2024, The TruStage Foundation Inc., the philanthropic arm of TruStage, invested $3.5 million in more than 65 non-profit organizations and social impact projects across the organization’s geographic footprint.
