John Larsen elected new Chairman of TruStage™ Board
MADISON, Wis. — At TruStage's recent Board of Directors meeting, John Larsen, was elected to serve as its new Chair. Mr. Larsen, the retired Executive Chairman and Board Chair of Alliant Energy Corporation, has served on TruStage’s board since 2021. He also serves as a member of the Governance, Human Resources and Compensation Committee. The TruStage board is comprised of both credit union and non-credit union business leaders. Board Chairs receive three-year terms and can be reelected for subsequent terms.
TruStage also thanked outgoing Chair, Michael G. Valentine for his extraordinary efforts as the Chair of the Board.

Mr. Valentine will retire as Chair but will continue to serve the board as a member of the Governance Committee and member of the Investment and Capital Committee. He has spent more than four decades in the financial services industry with much of his career dedicated to Baxter Credit Union (BCU), based in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Mr. Valentine has served as BCU’s CEO since 1994. In that time, BCU has grown to serve more than 355,000 members with assets exceeding $6 billion.
