MADISON, Wis. — On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, TruStage, previously known as CUNA Mutual Group, will commemorate its 90th anniversary, celebrating nearly a century of unwavering commitment to the credit union industry and the members we serve. A commitment that has seen TruStage contribute significant time, treasure and talents to the protection of the credit union industry, including recent efforts to preserve the tax-exempt status and maintain the current interchange fee structure.

“This milestone is a reflection of our strong partnership with credit unions across the country and the shared 'people helping people' philosophy we were founded upon,” said Terrance Williams, TruStage President and CEO. “We're honored to have served this industry for 90 years and excited about the future we're building together with our partners.”

The celebration will highlight the TruStage legacy of innovation, its deep roots in the cooperative movement and its forward-looking vision for financial security and inclusion. The event will include a live interview featuring PosTel Family Credit Union CEO Rick Hanson and TruStage EVP of Sales and Marketing Tammy Schultz. PosTel sold TruStage's very first insurance policy. To show our gratitude for their continued support, TruStage plans to honor PosTel with two monetary contributions. One contribution will be to the credit union itself, and the other will be to a cause that is near and dear to the credit union's heart.
